Icy crystal

Pictures pictures everywhere.  As my daughter opened the ice cream box she said  “Kelly you have to see this.”  I didn’t wonder why I knew she had found another picture.  Ok, I was a little tired and didn’t really feel like it but I went and looked.  I need to remember she has an incredible eye and I shouldn’t doubt it.

Yes this is from the underside of an ice cream lid.  The crystals were very interesting.  So I got my camera, my reverse mount adapter, and my 40-led light.

The led light worked double duty during this shoot.  First it provide “daylight” for the camera.  Second it’s temperature  cool so it didn’t melt the crystals any faster than just being out of the freezer.
