Spring tree

The light coming through the tree and the shadows caught my eye.  I wanted all of the tree to show so I hide the sun behind the trunk of the tree.  I also didn’t want the sun to over power the exposure.  If the sun had been more visible the white leaves would have become dark shadows.  I let the meter automatically set the shutter speed and I set the f-stop to f10 for good depth of field.

One moment in the show

I really liked this shot for the out of focus background.  I positioned myself level with the subject and put the rest of the group over her shoulder. They are there however in a supporting role.
