Too much coffee for some?

This was an interesting outcome of timed exposures of groups.  I was looking for the common swirl of subjects passing through and around the pictures.  Some pictures where more interesting than others then I saw this one.  I’m thinking that because the woman is touching the table, something stationary, that it encouraged her to remain stationary herself. This is a 5 second exposure and for the most part she didn’t move.  I find it interesting how much the rest of this group moved in that 5 seconds.

Wells construction

First attempt at Panography – Taking multiple shots and assembling them like a puzzle.  Needs more work but interesting effect.  I wonder how a face would look done like this?

This is a HDR photograph.  Three picture were taken at different exposures and combined within photoshop to make this one shot.

Silent waves

I saw this effect on a web page and tried to recreate it.  It was also cold and raining so my special thanks to my two models that braved the night for my picture.  The concentric circles at first thought seems like a very difficult task.  Not really.  I had everything I needed in my workshop.  A paint roller and the long handle, a string of lights, duct tape (black tape would be better), and a light stand.  The lights are taped to the handle of the roller and the roller is jammed onto the top of the stand.  After locking open the shutter I got behind them and rotated the handle one time.  It was just that simple.  Now that the test worked I need to incorporate it into more pictures.

Chupa and new friend

I was sleeping on the couch in the afternoon.  The front door was open and Chupa would usually sit there and watch the world go by.  About half an hour later I hear him whining.  It went on longer than I thought it should considering if it was another dog they would have walked out of range by then.  Getting up I didn’t find him at the front door.  He was at the back door on the floor whining at the squirrel in the bucket of food.  The squirrel ran when he saw me so I got my camera and sat on the couch and waited.  I took about 20 pictures over the next 30 minutes as the squirrel came back and looked in the door.

Animals and kids take time to get good picture.  Time and preparations. But worth it when you get one of these shots.
